We perform surveys for various types of projects. The following are typical of the types of sites Welch Associates surveys on a regular basis.

Plymouth, Massachusetts

Plymouth Court House - Provided construction layout services to the general contractor and the site contractor for the duration of the project. Scope of work included foundation layout, steel layout, site layout, and as-builts.

Providence, Rhode Island

GTech Corporate Headquarters - Provided construction layout services to the general contractor and pile driving company. Scope of work included foundation layout, steel layout, pile layout, and as-builts.

Mattapan, Massachusetts

Massachusetts Biological Laboratories - Prepared a Boston Water and Sewer Commission (BWSC) Utility As-built per BWSC detailed specifications. Cross-sections, pipe depths, inverts and all other water, sewer and drain information was provided as required.

Providence, Rhode Island

Rhode Island School of Design - Prepared complete base mapping of the entire campus including full boundary, topography, and utility information for use by the "design team". The site encompassed several blocks and was steeply sloped with a dense network of underground utility lines, an underground bus tunnel, several multi-story historic buildings and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Plymouth, Massachusetts

Forges Field Golf Course - Staked out the location of an 18 hole golf course for construction. The site was perfect for using the "mapping grade" GPS equipment due to the thick woods and underbrush. The entire project was performed for a fraction of the time and cost that would have been necessary using conventional surveying methods.

Ashland, Massachusetts

Town of Ashland - Performed a boundary retracement survey of a 52 acre parcel of land and prepared a taking plan for the Town of Ashland.
